Lambda Defence x Angstadt Arms MDP-9 Airsoft Machine Gun
The Lambda Defence x Angstadt Arms MDP-9 is a compact green gas airsoft submachine gun built for players who want licensed styling, sharp handling, and strong close-quarters performance in an ultra-light platform. Developed in collaboration with Angstadt Arms under EMG license, this model delivers the aggressive look of a modern pistol caliber carbine in a compact gas blowback format that feels right at home in CQB airsoft, vehicle scenarios, and fast-moving urban games.
Its biggest strengths are compactness, low weight, and flexibility. The MDP-9 is easy to shoulder, fast to transition, and ideal for players who need a compact primary or a powerful secondary-style platform for tight indoor spaces. For snipers, recon players, or aggressive assault users, it offers an excellent balance between realism, portability, and gas blowback fun.
Licensed Angstadt Arms styling
One of the standout features of the MDP-9 is its licensed Angstadt Arms markings, which give the replica a far more authentic appearance for players who appreciate real-world branding and firearm-inspired detail. The long top rail, compact PCC layout, and clean modern lines give this replica a distinctive look that stands out from more traditional gas pistols and SMGs.
Lightweight construction with reinforced lower
The replica uses a polymer upper and a nylon-reinforced polymer lower, helping keep weight down without sacrificing practical durability for skirmish use. Metal parts are used where strength and reliability matter most, including the controls and key hardware. This combination makes the MDP-9 extremely manageable during long games while still feeling robust in the hands.
-
Lightweight polymer build for faster movement and reduced fatigue
-
Nylon-reinforced lower for extra durability
-
Metal controls including selector, bolt catch, and enlarged magazine release
-
Compact profile ideal for indoor fields and aggressive CQB play
Built for accessories and modern setups
The front end features an M-LOK compatible handguard, while almost the entire top of the replica is fitted with a full-length RIS / Picatinny rail. This makes it easy to install a red dot sight, flashlight, laser, or other tactical accessories without overcomplicating the build. At the rear, the replica includes a RIS rail interface for attaching a stock or tactical sling point, giving players even more options when setting up the platform for their preferred role.
The charging handle has a rough-textured surface for a more secure grip, even with gloves or during high-pressure games. Combined with the comfortable pistol grip angle, the MDP-9 remains intuitive and easy to control in fast transitions and close-range engagements.
Gas blowback performance for CQB and dynamic games
Powered by green gas, the MDP-9 offers satisfying blowback action and lively close-range performance. With an adjustable hop-up, 110 mm inner barrel, and around 290 FPS, it is tuned for compact, fast, reactive gameplay where maneuverability matters more than raw range. The included 47-round gas magazine gives the replica a practical amount of onboard ammo while maintaining a realistic platform feel.
A major advantage of this system is magazine compatibility. The MDP-9 is designed to work with magazines compatible with VFC G17, EMG SAI BLU, Action Army AAP-01, and similar platforms, making it an attractive choice for players who already run compatible sidearms and want to simplify their loadout.
