Replica of M110 Carbine Selective Rifle - Black
The replica has been manufactured by the renowned ARES company. Thanks to the license of the American Knight's Armament Company, the producer of the flammable prototype, we can enjoy the authentic nomenclature and markings on the barrel, including the characteristic graphic KAC logo with the helmet and shield. The M110 is a self-repeating selection rifle used by US Army and USMC soldiers, in service since 2007. The Carbine version features a slightly lighter weight and shorter barrel. The M110 is an improved and upgraded version of the well-known and popular SR25.
The appearance of the replica has been meticulously reproduced in accordance with the firearm's original - trigger guard, magazine
release and bolt-catch on both sides, body shape. It is safe to say that this is one of the best (if not the best) replica of this type of rifle that has ever appeared on the market. The icing on the cake of realism is the possibility of mounting the original flask with guide from the fire version. The replica has adjustable, mechanical flip-up sights (folding). The external barrel was finished with a 14mm, left-handed thread, on which a flame suppressor was mounted.
The replica was made mostly from high quality aluminium alloy - the whole body, external barrel, flask guide, etc. Only the butt stock and pistol
grip were made of strong plastic. It is a telescopic LMT type, 5-position flask - you can adjust its length to adjust the replica to the build and preferences of the shooter.
The M110 Carbine is equipped with a free float front rail assembly. Thanks to 22mm RIS mounting rails, including a long, dorsal one, we have a possibility to install a whole range of additional accessories, from optical sights, to lighting and tactical grips. In the set we receive a set of 3 protective panels for the mentioned rails. The replica is equipped with 2 QD type tactical suspension mounts - allowing to release it with one press. The front clip is mounted by means of RIS rail.
Access to the hop-up chamber is gained in a classic way, after pulling back the reloading handle. A nice feature here is a functioning, double-sided bolt-catch. The replica is capable of continuous fire, despite the lack of appropriate markings at the selector. The kit also includes a solid, metal mount for optics, with 2 rings of 30mm diameter.
As many other ARES replicas, also the M110 Carbine has the possibility of quick spring replacement without having to unscrew the gearbox frame. The heart of the replica is reinforced, slightly modified gearbox v.2, which has an integrated EFCS module - Electronic Firing Control System. It controls the operation of the trigger assembly, causing smooth operation and shortening the reaction time of the engine to the trigger press. The standard contact block was replaced by an electronic system. The EFCS also has a built-in MOSFET circuit.
EFCS significantly increases the life of the mechanism, and thus, the entire replica and allows the use of high voltage batteries, including LiPo.
The magazine
included in the replica is made of metal in steel colour mid cap, with a capacity of 160 rounds.
The kit does not include a battery or charger.
