Returns and refunds

This policy sets out two separate sets of rights: your right of withdrawal, which lets you change your mind for any reason, and the statutory guarantee of conformity, which applies when a product is faulty or not as described. They are independent of each other.

1. Right of withdrawal — changing your mind

Under Directive 2011/83/EU and Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005, consumers have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving any reason. At Airsoft Mania you have 30 days, counted from the day you or a third party you designate takes physical possession of the goods.

To withdraw, tell us before the 30 days expire, using our returns portal at airsoftmania.eu/a/return or by emailing help@airsoftmania.eu with your order number. You may use the model withdrawal form set out at the end of this policy, but you are not obliged to. We will confirm receipt of your notice without delay.

You must send the goods back within 14 days of telling us. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we agreed otherwise or the return is because the item is faulty or not what you ordered.

What we refund

We refund the full price you paid for the returned goods, plus the standard delivery charge you paid on the original order. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our standard one, we refund the standard rate only.

We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of receiving proof that you have sent them, whichever is earlier. The refund is made in money, using the same payment method you used for the order, unless you expressly ask for something else. You will not incur any fee as a result of the refund.

Reduction in value

You may examine and test the goods as you would in a shop. You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Where such a reduction occurs, we deduct a proportionate amount from the refund and explain the calculation to you in writing.

Opening the packaging, or the packaging being marked or damaged, does not in itself reduce the value of the goods and is not a ground for us to refuse a return. We ask you to use the original box where possible, or a box of similar size and strength, and not to write on the outer packaging.

When the right of withdrawal does not apply

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. In practice this covers:

  • replicas modified at your request, including power reduction to 0.5 J or 1 J, conversion to semi-automatic only, and two-tone painting;
  • other work carried out to your instructions on a specific item.

These exclusions do not affect your rights if the item turns out to be faulty: the statutory guarantee below applies to modified replicas in the same way as to any other product.

2. Statutory guarantee — faulty or misdescribed goods

We are liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 24 months of delivery. During the first 12 months the defect is presumed to have existed at delivery, and you do not have to prove it.

Where goods are not in conformity you are entitled, free of charge, to have them repaired or replaced. Where repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate, not carried out within a reasonable time, or would cause you significant inconvenience, you are entitled to a proportionate price reduction, or to terminate the contract and receive a refund in money.

We may offer you a store credit as an alternative, but only if you accept it. You are never obliged to take a credit instead of a refund. Return shipping for a warranty claim is at our expense.

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by tampering or by use that does not comply with the manufacturer's instructions, or normal wear on consumable parts. The limits are described in full in our Legal notice.

3. How the process works

  1. Open a request at airsoftmania.eu/a/return.
  2. We reply within 3 working days with an RMA code and the return address. Please do not send anything back before you have the RMA code, as unannounced parcels may be refused by the receiving warehouse.
  3. Send the goods back, complete with the accessories supplied, within 14 days of your withdrawal notice.
  4. We inspect the goods. Inspection normally takes up to 7 working days from arrival, depending on volume.
  5. We refund within the deadlines set out above.

Customer care and the preparation of return files are handled on our behalf by Unity sp. z o.o., established in Poland. All decisions on refunds, replacements and price reductions are taken by VIKKIN S.R.L.S., which remains your counterparty.

4. Damaged, missing or incorrect items

Please check your parcel on arrival. If anything is damaged, missing or different from what you ordered, contact help@airsoftmania.eu as soon as possible, ideally within a few days of delivery and with photographs of the parcel and its contents. Reporting promptly helps us pursue the carrier, but it is not a condition of your statutory rights.

5. Model withdrawal form

Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.
