RDB (Rifle, Downward-Ejection, Bullpup) ist ein äußerst interessanter ASG-Nachbau, der von ARES unter Lizenz der amerikanischen Firma Kel-Tec CNC Industries Inc. hergestellt wird. Dieser Hersteller ist bereits weithin bekannt, nicht nur auf dem Militärmarkt, sondern auch auf dem zivilen Markt andere aufgrund solcher originellen Designs wie das KSG-Gewehr oder die CP33- Pistole . Der RDB-Karabiner selbst ist eine Weiterentwicklung einer weiteren Bull-Pup-Waffe aus dem Kel-tec-Katalog, dem RFB.

Der Karabiner wurde im Boltless-System Bull-Pup (Bull-Pup) konstruiert, wodurch er eine hohe Manövrierfähigkeit und relativ kompakte Abmessungen beibehält, während er einen sehr langen und effektiven Lauf verwendet. Wie der echte Prototyp besteht auch die Kel-tec RDB von ARES größtenteils aus dickem, mit Nylonfasern verstärktem Polymerkunststoff. Zu den Metallkomponenten gehören die Verschlusskammer, der äußere Lauf, die obere RIS-Schiene, das Dummy-Gasrohr und die Manipulatoren, während die Entladevorrichtung, die Tragegurthaken und der Magazinauslöser aus Stahl bestehen. Drehknopf zum Einstellen des System-Hop-Ups befindet sich im Inneren des Magazinschachts , der Akku wird unter dem vorderen Griff platziert (DEANS / T-Connect-Stecker).

Das Gewehr wird von einem speziellen ARES EFCS-Getriebe mit der Funktion Quick Spring Replacement Function Programmable Unit MOSFET und einem mit Microstick ausgestatteten Abzug angetrieben . Plus ein leistungsstarker Motor mit hohem Drehmoment und der bereits erwähnte, lange 430-mm-Innenlauf machen die Kel-Tec RDB zu einer sehr effektiven und vielseitigen Nachbildung, die sowohl bei Waldschüssen als auch bei Stadt- oder CQB-Wettkämpfen gute Leistungen erbringen wird.

In Germany, the Weapons Act governs the sale and use of Airsoft guns:

Fully automatic Airsoft pistols with a muzzle energy up to 0.5 joules can be purchased by individuals 14 years of age or older. (please add our downgrade optional service for Germany).
Handguns and rifles exceeding 0.5 joules must be semi-automatic (one shot per trigger pull) and require the buyer to be at least 18 years old. We'll ask for age verification during your online purchase.
Age verification is done online before completing your order. If the recipient is different from the person placing the order, we'll also need their age verification.
Carrying Airsoft guns in public is generally prohibited, even if they're not readily visible. Exceptions exist with a valid firearms license, but this only applies to handguns and semi-automatic rifles.
Full Auto Airsoft guns exceeding 0.5 joules are considered firearms under the Weapons Act. Carrying them without a valid firearms license (with the "F in a pentagon" marking) is an administrative offense.
Transporting Airsoft guns requires them to be unloaded, secured, and in a closed container.
Using Airsoft guns is permitted on private property (with the owner's consent) and designated Airsoft fields.
