The CM18 MOD1 carbine replica produced by G&G was made under the Combat Machine project, which aims to provide high quality replicas at a price that can be considered economical. Combat Machine replicas are characterized by the highest, characteristic for G&G, workmanship and high quality of materials used. The main factor allowing to reduce the price is the use of high quality plastic body, instead of metal. It is also important to note that the barrel itself is made of glass fibre reinforced plastic, as is the foregrip, the butt stock and almost all the plastic parts. On the other hand, metal was used for the outer barrel, the butt guide, the slinger and most of the small parts.
The replica is equipped with a SF type butt end with a rubber foot. In its interior there is a battery. The stock is adjustable, so you can adjust the length of the rifle to your build and preferences. In the set we receive a set of mechanical flip-up sights. They are foldable, so they will not interfere with any optical sights.
CM18 MOD1 has a dorsal RIS rail on the whole length of the body, and a set of three long rails in the place of front grip. This complete conversion allows the installation of a whole range of additional accessories, from optics, grips and tactical lighting to laser target indicators. The replica is mostly made in tan, except for the pistol
grip, flask, sighting devices, magazine
, flame suppressor and front rail covers. These are made of black plastic.
The replica is sold with a plastic mid-cap magazine
with a capacity of 120 rounds.
The replica is equipped with a bearing-based 8 mm gearbox v2, which allows to achieve a firing rate of ~395 fps right out of the box. Thanks to this, and the use of a 275 mm internal barrel, the replica will be ideally suited for short and medium range operations. Inside there is a sealed air system, equipped with a high-quality chamber and HU rubber.
The kit does not include a battery or charger.
