The Soviet AK-74N Assault Rifle
The AK-74N is a modernised version of the AK-74, a Soviet assault rifle with 5.45X39 rounds introduced in 1974. It is called the 'N' because the word 'Novoie' means 'new' in Russian. The 'N' version introduced a slide for the infrared sight on the left side, as well as other improvements over the original version of the AK-74. It is used by the Russian army and other military forces around the world.
AK 74 N Airsoft Rifle by E&L Airsoft, Essential series.
E&L Airsoft is offering a robust and very relatable replica of the AK74N under the name "ELAK 74N AEG Essential", where the abbreviation "AEG", as it is known, indicates that it is an electric replica. Essential, on the other hand, indicates the series of E&L replicas that, while retaining all the quality features that have made E&L the market leader, manage to have a slightly lower price than the previous generation.
These are therefore electric replicas of the AK assault rifles, made entirely of solid steel, with a very realistic appearance, a very solid gearbox (V3 standard) and high build quality that ensures that all components are perfectly fitted and aligned. This level of quality and realism is guaranteed by the fact that all E&L Airsoft replicas are assembled on one of the production lines where real firearms are produced, using some of the external elements of the real AK firearm counterpart.
"E&L Airsoft" takes care of the smallest details to make its AK rifle replicas as close to the original as possible.
Features of AK-74 N by E&L (ELAK 74N AEG Essential):
- All metal parts are 100 per cent steel, no parts are alloy;
- The stock, handguard and gas tube cover are made of real painted solid wood used for real AK;
- The external steel parts are the same as the real weapon. They undergo the same ageing and oxidation process;
- The pistol grip is made of nylon-fibre reinforced polymer;
- The battery (not included) is housed under the dust cover;
-
Side rail for infrared optics introduced with the "N" series of AK 74 rifles;
- Metal hop-up chamber;
- The ELAK 74N replica, like its original AK-74N counterpart can be partially disassembled without the aid of any tools;
-
Magwell spacer insert for faster reloading;
- Mi-Cap polymer magazine with a capacity of 150 BBs.
The ELAK 74N, like all E&L Essential replicas, is equipped with a V3 gearbox with quick spring change and MOSFET system. The compact MOSFET chip in E&L's AK-74N provides improved trigger response, increased ROF and improved rifle performance even with stronger springs and batteries. A&L airsoft claims to have tested the circuit with a 13.5 V LiPo battery and an M150 spring.
