The CXP-YAK S1 ICS airsoft replica is made almost entirely of metal using CNC technology the interesting-looking body of the replica and the front with the Keymod system are made of metal. Durable plastic is used for the adjustable stock, ergonomic pistol
grip, 300-bullet hi-cap magazine
and folding sights.
A well-known and characteristic feature manifested by all M4-type replicas manufactured by ICS is the unique design of the bipartite gearbox, which allows quick replacement of the upper module and adjustment of the replica's power to the requirements of the situation on the field. In order to maintain the correct position of gears during the assembly of the body, the manufacturer used a mechanism releasing the gear ratio to the zero position after selecting the safe position on the fire selector. This also clearly extends the life of the replica.
The stock not only folds to the right side, it has a six-stage adjustment and a raised cheek rest. In the centre of the barrel, there is space for a battery and a fuse. Also noteworthy is the fact that the replica uses an electric blow-back system that causes the breech to move while shooting. The carbine was created with both rightand left-handed shooters in mind the fire selector and magazine
release are double-sided, and the breech lever can be mounted on the left or right side.
The internal components are fully compatible with parts from other renowned companies the exception here, of course, is the gearbox frame, nozzle and tappet. Reinforced internal parts are already standard here, which makes the replica an excellent base for further expansion and tuning. The replica also features a MOSFET system, which improves the rate of fire and trigger response.
