The AKM is the Modernized version of the original AK-47 rifle, as it is made of stamped steel which is more cost-effective to produce compared to the milled receivers of the AK-47s. The GHK AKM is a faithful replica of this classic soviet era rifle.

The GHK AKM is arguably one of the best gas airsoft AKM rifles available the market, being made of real wood and steel just like the real gun, it gives you the robustness that no other gas airsoft AKs could provide. The operation is very realistic, with the only difference in that the bolt is short-stroked compared to the real gun. This design provides for better gas efficiency and delivers a more realistic cyclic rate.

This AKM airsoft rifle comes with a green gas magazine, but it will also take a CO2 magazine made by GHK (sold separately), which will perform a little better during cold winter months! The GHK AKM can be field-stripped like the real AKM. Faithful details include adjustable rear sight, a removable mock cleaning rod, a spring-loaded door that conceals the empty space in the wood stock to store your cleaning kit, and all the surface details on the receiver that make this a highly realistic replica of the real AKM. The removable flash hider reveals barrel threading up front that can allow you to install an airsoft suppressor or BB tracer unit if you choose. Weighing in at a hefty 3,12Kg, this airsoft AKM feels very real to hold.

Recoil is strong whether you shoot in the selectable semi-auto or full-auto firing modes, good for 380fps using 0.2g BBs, and a little higher if paired with a CO2 magazine which can be purchased separately.
