Usage and Maintenance

However, it is important to monitor the pack during extended storage to prevent discharge below the minimum permissible value of 3V per cell, which could lead to irreversible chemical reactions and potential damage, including the risk of ignition. An unused LiPo pack should ideally maintain an average charge of approximately 70%.

When used correctly, LiPo packs have an average lifespan of 500-700 cycles. They perform well at low temperatures, unlike other batteries, but should be charged at room temperature.
