A complete starting setup built around the Specna Arms SA-F03 FLEX Gen.2 with a brushless motor and HAL ETU. The rifle ships without a battery, which is the usual reason a first purchase cannot be used the day it arrives. Here power and ammunition are solved, and magazines are optional.
The brushless motor draws less current and reaches speed faster than a brushed one. Combined with the HAL ETU, which manages the trigger electronically, the result is a shorter and more repeatable trigger response than conventional wiring gives. The charger set supplies both the balance charger for 110-240V and an 11.1V 1000 mAh Li-Po with a Deans connector.
The BBs are EDGE ULTRA BIO in 2,700-round resealable bottles, from 0.20 g to 0.30 g. The F03 runs around 400 FPS, and at that energy 0.25 g and 0.28 g are the working range. Choose 0.20 g only if your field caps at 0.5 J, where the lighter BB is the right answer rather than a compromise; 0.30 g pays off at longer range once the hop-up is set.
Magazines are optional because one ships with the rifle. Adding five S-Mag mid-caps of 125 rounds takes you to six, which covers a full game without reloading from a pouch of loose BBs. Mid-caps need no winding wheel and stay quiet when you move, at the cost of reloading more often than a hi-cap would. The set is colour matched to the rifle: black with the black rifle, tan with the Half-Tan.
