The AK 74M Assault Rifle

The AK-74M is a Soviet/Russian assault rifle based on the famous AK-47 Kalashnikov design. It was introduced in 1991 as an improved version of the AK-74, introduced in 1974. It offers higher performance than its predecessor, features a folding stock, a more advanced safety guard, an improved sighting system and a guide for installing the infrared sight. The 'M' version is easily recognisable from previous versions of the AK74 because for the first time the iconic wooden parts are replaced by hard plastic. It is a lightweight and reliable assault rifle, making it a popular option for armed and security forces worldwide.

Airsoft replica of the AK74 M, the Dboy RK05

This Airsoft version of the AK-74M made by DBOY (called the RK05) is designed to resemble the original as closely as possible. In fact, like the original version, it is almost entirely made of steel and a uniform alloy of zinc and aluminium. Only the stock, the pistol grip and a few other elements are made of plastic, exactly as in the original version of the AK74M, which, as mentioned above, is the first model in the AK series to replace the wooden parts with an excellent plastic, much stronger and lighter than wood.
Other features, inherited from the AK-74-M, that give a very realistic look to the DBoy RK05 replica are: the matte black finish and the stock that reclines on the side of the receiver, making it considerably smaller, making it more compact, versatile, manageable and easy to carry.
The stick-type battery is stored under the dust cover (included in the set). The replica can be partially disassembled like the original weapon. Only the screws are missing, the result of a construction based on the VFC standard. The receiver is equipped with a 'dovetail' side mounting rail.
At the heart of the replica is a V3 gearbox, which is characterised by its long service life and excellent tuning basis. Inside the replica is a two-way, reinforced piston head, a spring guide with ball bearings and 7 mm ball bearings.
The replica comes with a polymer HiCap magazine with a capacity of up to 500 BB.

In Germany, the Weapons Act governs the sale and use of Airsoft guns:

Fully automatic Airsoft pistols with a muzzle energy up to 0.5 joules can be purchased by individuals 14 years of age or older. (please add our downgrade optional service for Germany).
Handguns and rifles exceeding 0.5 joules must be semi-automatic (one shot per trigger pull) and require the buyer to be at least 18 years old. We'll ask for age verification during your online purchase.
Age verification is done online before completing your order. If the recipient is different from the person placing the order, we'll also need their age verification.
Carrying Airsoft guns in public is generally prohibited, even if they're not readily visible. Exceptions exist with a valid firearms license, but this only applies to handguns and semi-automatic rifles.
Full Auto Airsoft guns exceeding 0.5 joules are considered firearms under the Weapons Act. Carrying them without a valid firearms license (with the "F in a pentagon" marking) is an administrative offense.
Transporting Airsoft guns requires them to be unloaded, secured, and in a closed container.
Using Airsoft guns is permitted on private property (with the owner's consent) and designated Airsoft fields.
