GR4 G26 carbine replica
Replica of GR4 G26 carbine by G&G. During the production metal (including steel) and plastic were used. Steel elements are the shell ejector cover, breech feed, trigger and flame suppressor , as well as mechanical sights. The flask guide, external barrel and most of the small parts are made of solid zinc-aluminium alloy. The butt plate, front grip and the body of the replica are made of plastic. The length of the butt stock is adjustable, which allows adjusting the replica to the conditions and build of the user.
The fire selector is located on the left side of the replica and is marked with graphic fire mode descriptions. The replica is equipped with the PBB system, which perfectly imitates the action of its flammable counterpart. It sets in motion a dummy lock and gives a noticeable effect of a "kick" of the replica into shooter's shoulder.
After pulling the reloading handle, the cover of the shell ejector opens and the dummy lock retracts to the rear position. This allows you to adjust the hop-up. What is interesting, the breech block also plays an important role here: after pressing it, the anti-return latch in the gearbox is released, thanks to which the mainspring is released. This significantly extends the life of the replica, allowing to maintain a high rate of fire by minimising the effects of spring wear.
The replica was made in black with contrasting pink elements. It is ideally suited for operations at a medium distance due to the M120 spring, which ensures an exit velocity of ~410 FPS. The applied dorsal RIS rail allows to attach any aiming optical device. The battery is located inside the front grip.
The GR4 G26 carbine replica works perfectly as a basic assault weapon. Thanks to the appropriate length of barrels and tight pneumatic system, provided with a high-quality chamber and HU rubber, it was possible to achieve a reasonable discharge velocity while maintaining a stable trajectory of the projectile and a considerable range. The initial velocity is sufficient to safely and effectively use the replica also in open terrain.
The rifle is equipped with a phenomenal BlowBack system, which adds realism to the use of the replica and provides the user with additional impressions.
The Pneumatic Blow Back works on the principle of releasing a part of the compressed air from the gearbox to a special cylinder located above its skeleton. The piston in the PBB cylinder moves a thin plate attached to it which imitates a lock.
NOTE: the manufacturer does not recommend the use of batteries stronger than 8.4V due to the possibility of damaging the plate.
G&G replicas with PBB system have reinforced, modified gearbox V2. Modifications consist in adapting it to the PBB system and adding an "active spring release" in the form of a lock dispenser button.
Gearbox is equipped with 8mm ball bearings, brass cylinder head and aluminum piston head.
The kit does not include a battery or charger.
