The carbine is equipped with a phenomenal EBB (Electric Blow Back) system, known from the Top Tech series replicas, which adds additional realism to the use of the replica and provides the user with additional impressions. In the magazine socket there is a lever releasing the tightened gearbox spring.

The GB, in addition to the high quality parts typical for G&G, has an innovative ETU (Electronic Trigger Unit) system installed. The system completely replaces the contact block and acts as a MOSFET type circuit. Thanks to the electronic trigger operation, the system has gained an excellent response to the trigger. Each press of the trigger results in a full GB cycle.

The ETU system has the possibility of programming the modes of conducting fire. The basic user has access to SAFE SEMI modes and a choice of FULL AUTO or 3shot burst. Programming is trivial just set the selector to SEMI position and hold the trigger for 10 seconds. After this procedure, on the third selector setting will start the selected mode.

The L85 replica is characterized by an excellent execution with faithful reproduction of details. G&G replica was made of metal, steel and plastic in a manner consistent with the design of the original and was equipped with a rubber butt plate for increased grip and reliability. The whole thing has been perfectly fitted and balanced, making the replica a pleasure to operate.

As befits G&G, the replica is characterized by excellent workmanship with attention to detail. Body of the replica, flame suppressor , magazine and some small parts are made of steel, and parts such as foregrip, pistol grip, cheek pad and ejector plate (as in the original) are made of durable plastic. The butt plate is made of rubber, thanks to which this heavy but perfectly balanced replica does not slip off the shoulder. In the pistol grip there is a compartment for tools or other small items.

Thanks to supplying the replica with a mounting rail, it was possible to attach dedicated optical aiming devices or a transport grip.

The reinforced gearbox was equipped with a reinforced spring guide, reinforced piston and piston head, reinforced and sealed cylinder head and sealed nozzle. The metal gears are mounted on 8 mm steel bearings. In combination with the extended cylinder and piston, it is a perfect base for power tuning of the replica, especially that the quality of the used parts is standard for G&G so it stands at the highest level.
