Ein Nachbau des britischen L1A1 SLR (Self-Loading-Rifle). L1A1 ist eine britische, sogenannte „Zoll-Version“ des belgischen Sturmgewehrs FN FAL, das in verschiedenen, modifizierten Versionen von über 70 Ländern verwendet wurde. Heute hat FAL seinen Dienst fast eingestellt, obwohl es in einigen Teilen der Welt immer noch verwendet wird. Die Geschichte von FAL beginnt um 1946, als FN (Fabrique Nationale) mit der Arbeit an einem neuen Gewehr mit einem Patronenlager für deutsche Kurzgeschosse im Kaliber 7,92 x 33 mm begann. Von '53 bis '54 wurde FAL von der amerikanischen Armee getestet und die Konstruktion an ihre Bedürfnisse angepasst, dh Verwendung von 7,62 x 51 mm NATO-Munition.

Der Nachbau ist eine britische Version von FN FAL, bekannt als L1A1 SLR, die beispielsweise während der Kampagne auf den Falklandinseln verwendet wurde. Die Nachbildungen sind das Ergebnis der Bemühungen von ARES, L1A1 in die Airsoft-Welt einzuführen. Die Repliken bestehen hauptsächlich aus Metall mit Ausnahme von Stahlstaubdeckel , Magazin und Transportgriff. Zu den Holzteilen gehören der Schaft, der Pistolengriff und der Handschutz.

Die Replik verfügt über einen Feuermodus-Wahlschalter mit nur zwei Einstellungen (wie im Original der lebenden Waffe):

- S - Sicher;
- R - Runde.

Die Batterie befindet sich im Schaft des Replikats, um Zugriff darauf zu erhalten, muss das Schaftpolster zurückgezogen und gedreht werden, um gekippt zu werden. Der Nachbau hat Tamiya-Kleinstecker und ist kompatibel mit LiPo 7,4V-Akkus. Es verfügt über ein voll funktionsfähiges Hop-Up-System, das nach dem Zurückziehen des Ladegriffs eingestellt werden kann.

ARES hat diese Nachbildung für den japanischen Markt vorbereitet, was bedeutet, dass präzise Handwerkskunst und eine hervorragende Passung der Innenteile zu erwarten sind.

Die Replik wird mit einem Stahl-Mid-Cap- Magazin mit einer Kapazität von bis zu 120 BBs geliefert.

Das Getriebe des Nachbaus verfügt über die von anderen Nachbauten von ARES bekannte Lösung, die einen schnellen Federwechsel ermöglicht

In Germany, the Weapons Act governs the sale and use of Airsoft guns:

Fully automatic Airsoft pistols with a muzzle energy up to 0.5 joules can be purchased by individuals 14 years of age or older. (please add our downgrade optional service for Germany).
Handguns and rifles exceeding 0.5 joules must be semi-automatic (one shot per trigger pull) and require the buyer to be at least 18 years old. We'll ask for age verification during your online purchase.
Age verification is done online before completing your order. If the recipient is different from the person placing the order, we'll also need their age verification.
Carrying Airsoft guns in public is generally prohibited, even if they're not readily visible. Exceptions exist with a valid firearms license, but this only applies to handguns and semi-automatic rifles.
Full Auto Airsoft guns exceeding 0.5 joules are considered firearms under the Weapons Act. Carrying them without a valid firearms license (with the "F in a pentagon" marking) is an administrative offense.
Transporting Airsoft guns requires them to be unloaded, secured, and in a closed container.
Using Airsoft guns is permitted on private property (with the owner's consent) and designated Airsoft fields.
