Der CM048A Nachbau wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail aus Stahl, Metall und hochwertigem Polymer gefertigt. Gehäuse, obere Abdeckung, Gasleitungsabdeckung, Mündungsfeuerdämpfer wurden aus Stahl hergestellt, während andere kleine Elemente aus Zink- und Aluminiumlegierungen hergestellt wurden. Der Pistolengriff sowie der vordere Handschutz und der Schaft wurden aus verstärktem schwarzem Polymer hergestellt.

CM048A weist im Vergleich zum Standardmodell einige Modifikationen auf – dazu gehören ein profilierter Pistolengriff für besseren Komfort und ein vorderer Handschutz mit 22-mm -RIS-Schienen , die die Installation vieler zusätzlicher Zubehörteile ermöglichen, darunter Zielgeräte, taktische Lichter, Vordergriffe und ähnliches.

Der Nachbau hat einen festen Vorrat, in dem der Akku gelagert wird. Auf den Akkumulator wird durch Entfernen der Schaftkappe zugegriffen. Auf der linken Körperseite befindet sich eine charakteristische Befestigungsschiene , die das Hinzufügen von Zielfernrohren oder zusätzlichen Schienen ermöglicht. Der Lauf endet mit 14 mm CCW-Gewinde mit Mündungsfeuerdämpfer.

In Anbetracht seiner Abmessungen passt der Nachbau perfekt in den Mittelstreckenkarabiner, während der lange Innenlauf und die hohe Mündungsgeschwindigkeit eine hohe Genauigkeit im Feuergefecht gewährleisten.

Die Replik wird mit einer Hop-Up-Kammer aus Metall geliefert. Es ist auch mit einem sehr robusten V3- Getriebe ausgestattet , Standard für Nachbauten vom Typ AK. Bei diesem Modell wurde es jedoch modifiziert und mit einem verstärkten Rahmen ausgestattet. Zu den weiteren Verbesserungen gehören 7-mm-Stahllager , verstärkte Stahlritzel und ein verstärkter Kolbenkopf – diese machen das System noch besser.

Die Verwendung einer M125 -Feder in Verbindung mit einem Aluminium-Hülsenkolben führte zu einer hohen Mündungsgeschwindigkeit von 430 FPS, wie bei einem Sturmgewehr-Nachbau. Zu dieser Tatsache trägt auch die Verwendung von verstärktem Federrohr mit Lagern bei.

Das Set enthält ein Polymer-500-Runden-Hi-Cap- Magazin vom Typ "Waffle".

In Germany, the Weapons Act governs the sale and use of Airsoft guns:

Fully automatic Airsoft pistols with a muzzle energy up to 0.5 joules can be purchased by individuals 14 years of age or older. (please add our downgrade optional service for Germany).
Handguns and rifles exceeding 0.5 joules must be semi-automatic (one shot per trigger pull) and require the buyer to be at least 18 years old. We'll ask for age verification during your online purchase.
Age verification is done online before completing your order. If the recipient is different from the person placing the order, we'll also need their age verification.
Carrying Airsoft guns in public is generally prohibited, even if they're not readily visible. Exceptions exist with a valid firearms license, but this only applies to handguns and semi-automatic rifles.
Full Auto Airsoft guns exceeding 0.5 joules are considered firearms under the Weapons Act. Carrying them without a valid firearms license (with the "F in a pentagon" marking) is an administrative offense.
Transporting Airsoft guns requires them to be unloaded, secured, and in a closed container.
Using Airsoft guns is permitted on private property (with the owner's consent) and designated Airsoft fields.
