Despite the common nickname, the MP40 was not a “Schmeisser”. The confusion was partly caused by Schmeisser-related markings found on certain historical magazines rather than on the weapon itself.

The Specna Arms MP40 RETRO is powered by a dedicated special-version gearbox and produces a listed muzzle velocity of approximately 400 FPS. An adjustable hop-up system applies backspin to the BB, helping improve effective range and shot consistency.
