The CM16 ARP 9 carbine replica produced by G&G was made under the Combat Machine project, whose aim is to provide high quality replicas at a price that can be considered economical. Combat Machine series replicas are characterized by the highest, characteristic for G&G, quality of workmanship, materials used, and the culture of internal elements. The main factor allowing to reduce the price is the use of high quality plastic body instead of metal. It is also important that the body itself is made of glass fibre reinforced plastic. On the other hand, metal was used for the external barrel, the butt guide, the strikers and most of the small parts.
At first glance, the replica resembles another AR15 series replica, but apart from the use of Gearbox version 2 or pistol
grip, the similarities end there. What we get is a solid, compact replica of the PDW type. The replica is equipped with a folding stock made of steel and plastic, while the slide conceals a plug for a battery (not included) and a mosfet system. The replica is equipped with a custom pistol
grip, trigger and metal rail in MLOK® system, bearing the licence markings. On the back of the replica, folding sights were placed. In addition to the strong polymer, the replica is equipped with steel elements, such as: the element of the butt, the shell ejector flap, which is opened with an enlarged reloading handle, screws and pins. The barrel of the replica is crowned with a custom exhaust device. The set includes a hicap magazine
with a capacity of 300 rounds.
In addition to the high quality parts typical for G&G, the GB has an innovative ETU (Electronic Trigger Unit) system installed. The system supplements the role of the MOSFET system. Thanks to the electronic system of work, an excellent response to the trigger has been achieved. Each press of the trigger results in a full GB cycle.
The ETU system has the possibility of programming the modes of conducting fire. The basic user has access to SAFE SEMI modes and a choice of FULL AUTO or 3 shot burst. Programming is trivial just set the selector to SEMI position and hold the trigger for 10 seconds. After this procedure on the third selector setting will start the selected mode.
